Company of Heroes Question..

I've been playing company of heroes for awhile now and really enjoyed/enjoy it, but i thought after a year of playing i wanted to mix it up a little aka. by a means of mods.

As i downloaded and put my first mod on i realised that when i started playing the colors of my units, the rings around them, and the little thing that says "DETONATE ME!" :evil: were gone!

Yes i admit the mod worked, and worked well, and the absence of colors is a bit more realistic, but I'm am wandering if it is just me? or does this happen to every mod?
In the screenshots the modder had em?

Ahh but you see i have tried many, right now im using the NHCOF mod, i had the paracommandoes one in also, they all do it. i had some other that did it also but i cant recall the names right now. I think a few were weapons balance mods, not big chunky mods.

Hmm...I assume you have tried reinstalling CoH? Also what are your computers specs? I never downloaded any CoH mods back when I played it but maybe I could help.

I have the gold edition of COH, patched to 2.202.0 my system specs are,
Intel Core Duo E8400 @ 3.00ghz 2.67ghz
2 gigs'a'ram
and a nvidia 9600 with 1 gig'a'mem.

When i run the game without mods its fine, maybe something to do with -dev mode? im not really sure.
