So i want to buy this DVD.
The DVD is a Region 3, NTSC format.
Problem- Australian DVD players are Region 4, PAL format.
I watch DVD's on my PC using a DVD drive, I do not use a standard DVD player connected to a TV.
My question: Using my DVD-ROM, will I be able to watch this DVD? And if not, is there a way of making it work?
Cheers.

... As a first though, I'd say no to both. But I'm sure someone with more knowledge will be able to tell you otherwise.

i beleive you can change the region code on your dvd player in your pc 5 times before it is locked to the permanent code on the 5 change, IMHO, go pick up a dvd player for 50$ at the warehosue or something, they usually play all regions :)

there you can play dvd's without changing region's on your dvd. it plays all regions =)

i'd suggest buying a multi dvd player or you can download ace's codec pack and you can play them from that direct ;)

Yeaa, I agree with MikoWolf , the dvd should work on your PC no problem without changine regions. But it may be that I ahve only ever played DVD's from Europe on my PC.

no no, what i said is that the vlc player program lets you play any region dvd on your computer without changing your region on your dvd
