Well it happened last week, but i had no internet acces when it happened and for a few days afterward too.So thought i would mention it now of this very well known new zealander for climbing mount everest with tenzing norgay.
There was lots of news coverage and paper last week on it(friday was the day i think, bad memory),also showing oversea's coverage too.Its died down now of course, but with the funeral next week(a state one which they dont usualy do for none pm.mps etc....).I think it must be on tv too,not 100% shure yet,but most likely some if not of all the service they hold.

Also he was a WW2 vet too which i forgot but with the age should have guessed. He served in the airforce and was in the pacific, how much if any action saw,not shure, but burned in accident in 1945 and sent home.
