Something to tie me over until 1944?

I currently play mainly Battlefield 2(and Halflife 2, a little Silent Hunter III, Pacific Fighters+Il2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles). I own Call of Duty, and have played it through and beaten it. I also own Battlefield 1942 and its various expansions.

To put it plainly, I'm getting the WWII itch. Can anyone recommend any games that would cure this itch? You can just recommend BF1942 or CoD if you want, as they are both great games, but for different reasons (Bf1942 doesn't win for realism :D ).

If you like strategy you should really try Hearts of Iron II... The only real grand scope WWII strategy game. Take conrol of any country in the world...

Hmm...for Strategy try Blitzkrieg 2 (Real-time strategy game, not long released).

For FPS, you could go for Brothers in Arms, which has also got a Stand-Alone expansion called Earned in Blood.

Combat Mission series for tactical fights.
Hearts of Iron for strategy.

Day of Defeat Source (for mindless fun)
Call of Duty: UO (for single player)
Call of Duty 2 out soon (again, for the single player campaign)
WW2 Online (closest thing out there to 1944)
