How can I edit the BF2 music?

Its driving me nuts...Ive converted the MP3 filed "hey man nice shot" by filter....(was used in DCX Brit) to an ogg file....placed in the right folder in my mods section.....no music. Nothing.... :(

Try Gspot to get the extension and to see wich codec is needed to convert the files.

I love the Chinese theme in BF2, it is so well composed.

The MEC is catchy too. How can you not like the BF2 music?

The only thing that doesnt really hit the spot is the menu music.

For anyone who is interested, I found this link detailing how to do it. It looks bloody complicated, Ive replaced sound and video files before, but until I get my head round this, its above me..... help :eek:

But in my op:

-The flames need a reason to be there

-the tanks in the background (upper left with the deployed soldiers looks out of place/proportion)

yeah....I agree.

It is abit crappy. I usually use Photoshop CS. But this is my downstairs computer, which ironically enough is the only one in the house which runs BF2 :rolleyes:

So Im limited to crappy photoshop eliments 2.

Hey ho' at least I got the music to work. And a neet video background.

P.S If anyone fancies having a go at this mini mod in their spare time just gimme a shout. I only really started it to evolve the SP mode for myself. But its kind of escilated from there.

Righty, a little update to my mini mod.

I have changed the name to "Semper Phi realism".
All weapons have been modified to become more realistic in weight, recoil, accuracy etc.
All vehicle based weapons have a limited ammo, including a reload.
Gun shot wounds are more realistic.
Blood mod added and body armour smoke has increased life.....just looks better and more realistic.
increased number of bots
increased AI behaviour
new music
new loggin screen with FX.
new biographies for levels
new bio. pictures
added a few more vehicles to maps.

Things to do:
Change MEC skin to "insurgant" type.
Dead sticks - bodies in parachutes float to the ground instead of dropping out of thin air.
vehicle damage to players limited.

I guess you mean the Semper Fi as a motto of the USMC?
