Imagine controlling the force with your mind! Imagine gaining stamina from real adrenaline! The coolest part has to be mood triggered music. Although it looks like a torture device. lol

Scary stuff... So games of the future will be able to tell when you're bored, and tell you to go outside! ARGH!

I read this a couple of days ago, it really is something quite amazing. I'm glad to see I wont need a chip in my head to play these types of interactive games.
Will be cool when they can develop it to be fast enough so you dont need any other interface.

Be sure to take the vest off when you hear incoming mortars. That'll hurt like a b*tch.

Wow, that is so good it is almost over the top. I do hope they downplay the pain from real life, I'm none too keen on getting real pain from a gun shot.

That's funny... I get a 404 from that link.

Edit: Ah, I see the problem - you forgot the l in html :p

Double Edit FTW: Hm. I'll keep my ribs intact, thanks.

Ew, I'd never wear the impact vest. Effecting a computer in more ways, like the Emotiv thing, is col. A computer effecting you in more ways is just scary to me.

But that Emotiv thing...0_0 wow. I want one. Imagine playing a Star Wars game and being able to use the force not with some in-game system that counts how much "force stamina" you have left, but actually is driven by your concentration. Wow...that would be amazing.

And a few years after that comes out, we'll have even better interfaces where you can control every aspect of a game mentally :). Imagine a shooter where you don't have to use WASD and your mouse to move and shoot. You imagine that you're walking, and your player walks. You focus on loading your gun and bringing it up to your eye and taking a shot. And it happens.

I can't wait

1944 + this = the closest experience to war without actually getting shot. Its gunna rock.
