Well lads, I have no doubt some of you will have played games from the Close Combat series but perhaps you have not heard the news!

Basically I think what happened, was some guys bought the rights to the close combat series and pretty much released an updated version of Close Combat 3. Its really fantastic, been playing it for days and I really advise you check it out.
WARNING: The AI really sucks for campaign. I myself have a copy of CC2: A bridge too far and the AI is much better in that. I hope they work on fixes for the AI as it used to be superb! Also its great in multiplayer so give it a try there!
If you want a really realistic ga,me go for this! The graphics are timeless!

These same guys also bought up Steel Panthers and offer it for free. It's friggin' awesome!:D

The graphics are the exact same as they were in 1998 when i played that game.

Graphics don't maketh a game... But they certainly do maketh a difference in sales.

I agree... but you after playing the 3 (4?) versions that came out... 8 years ago, you think they would have attempted to make it look a little bit better.

I agree. Example: Combat Mission (although that wasn't 8 years ago but meh)

How cool does that new combat mission look!
