Here is a low quality video of the first DirectX 10 demonstration by the creators of Far Cry (Crytek)

ok the quality is terrible but im awestuck. that looks brillant and i've been waiting for fully destructable enviroments since i heard about Red Faction on ps2 ages ago and Geo-mod that came with it. Jesus /me falls in love

dx10 + physics card=teh pwn. Ronan will the full 1944 game us dx10? if you say no i will cry, and youll have to live with that.

Oh...my...god...that video was incredible. I don't know what i'll do when a high quality video comes out and when DirectX 10 officially releases and gets improved.

Anyways, who's up for vacation? After seeing that I sure am.

BTw, when is DX10 planned to come? And will DX9 cards support any of it's features?

7800GTX cards are to bad for directx10!

Reality Builder is built on DirectX 9.1, which was later known as Windows Graphics Foundation (during the Windows Vista b?ta 1 period).

It was postponed until they renamed it DirectX10.

So basically the game is DirectX 10 powered, but no worries, compatibility goes as far as DirectX 6 like Source engine.
