I really don't like them...

I know them and I love -most- of thier music. I don't like Seeman, but pretty much all their other songs are great! :D

The english translations of some of their songs aren't too good though.. it makes you think when you're going 'Zwitter! Zwitter!' :p

Another good band that is similar to Rammstein is Megaherz. Their music is pretty good too :)
(It could never beat Rammstein though ;) )

I like them :) Seen them live this summer over here, pretty good pyrotechnics. Also they were dressed up as butchers and the singer had a chainsaw O.o

The songs on that list are some of their best 'pieces of work' IMO :)
All the rest are 'good' :p :D

Well if you have a legitimate copy of the CD, and the clip is not available for purchase ANYWHERE, then it's fair game - They wouldn't lose any money over it, as there's none to lose, and if anything, it will give the band more exposure.
But they probably have the clip on a DVD somewhere... Have a look around.

Rammstein is my favourite band... it makes a HUGE difference to be able to understand the lyrics cause you know what words come next and your anticipated hearing makes you long for the music...

I dunno if anyone understands that but yeah they are my fav band..

I havn't heard much about them apart from the song they played in XxX (the vin deasel film) and a german version of barbie girl. unfortunately i dont know german, but otherwise yeah i like their guitar riff's and drumming :)

Their first album was pretty rough and very unmelodic at times but their second album and third ; Mutter and Reise Reise are just fantastic...

Songs I can perscribe are:

Die Sonne (probably my fav)
Reise Reise (one of my favs as I was travlleing the world listenint to this ;D)
Mutter (sad song especially if u could understand the lyrics but awesome anyway)

It's because it sounds AWESOME in german, whether or not you understand the music. Thats why I looked up the translations for the music.

Rammstein are ok, but as Airforce has already said, not many people in Germany like them. I like Rammsteins riffs, but Die Toten Hosen und Kraftwork really do give em a run for their money. Especially as it was Die Toten Hosen (not Rammstein) who opened this years live 8 in Berlin.

I love rammstein. Die Sonne is probably my favourite, but i'm also quite partial to Mutter.
I'm with wally, though. I dislike Seemann. The squeaky acoustic guitar annoys me.

Das ist sehr schlecht

However very poignant...which seems to be the way that Rammstein is moving. I also think that theyve tride to capture "the mood of Germany" (which is not to say everyone) throughout all of their works during the past, what? 10 years or so?
