His performance as the priest in Blues Brothers was amazing. I'll always remember that.

Quite inappropriate in my opinion.

This man had a family, and he died on Christmas. A little respect would be warranted in this situation. . .

It doesn't matter whether the family reads the forum or not, it's a symbol of respect. To show disrespect to a great figure such as this man at a thread so obviously geared at respecting him is a sign of immaturity.

Sorry, you just seem like a troll to me. Weren't you the same guy who disrespected Steve Irwin too? Just likes the attention I guess.

RIP James Brown

Saw the news today and a real bigh send off at the apollo, where they took him even though he died in atlanta i think, but then they will go back there for the burial or cremation?, thousands turned up to pay there repects, and they had a open coffin to,is that more of an american thing it seems during a service, not shure about other countries realy what they all do.

The message you were given clearly states what it was for. It would also appear that it was nothing to do with this topic. If you have an issue please take it up with the mods and admin not posting in the public areas about it please.
PM Schrem [506th PIR], see what he has to say.

At any rate it was just a warning for now.

It's very sad...He was a great singer and musician, and it dosen't matter if we like what he did or not. He influenced so many, and he sang really well.

People come and go, but truly sincere and genious music lasts after them. Rest in peace.
