I got this game with the CS:S multi pack thing and so far ive played it 99% of the time compared to CS:S's 1% of the time.

Its based in the WW2 era and its just so much find:D


Anyone else played this?:)

lol, for a second I thought you were going to tell me about a Zombie mod for Day of Defeat Source.

Yep, I play it most weekends, on US servers - Church of Norris, Lords of Carnage, or Super Sports.

Why doesn't it have a good name around here? I don't seem to remember seeing it establish a bad name here.

DOD is cool, i like it alot. although i likes the old version much better. in other words, i liked the mod much better than the actual game. what i dont like is how some guns sound.

I used to play 1.3 a lot but then Source came along and killed it for me :E It lost the feel of the oldscool DoD. It's kinda hard to explain but Source just felt so...sourcey :p (With all the fancy gfx and effects) Source is still fun on public every now and again though.

Im going ot get my first online game hopefully tomorrow,i could have got the older one,but i just like the graphics far more in source to much.:cool:

if you like the WW2 theme of DoD, you should try Red Orchestra if you'd like more realistic gameplay, otherwise, enjoy DoD, just not my thing :)

Well I like the graphics of DoD, but then RO has realism... I like DoD.

Dam the one i wanted was not in the shop,been sold,so they need ot get in another one next week.
