I just got Battlefield 1942, Gshocker told me to get it, because his lazy A$$ won't look for Star Wars battlefront so we can play a game so I went out and got this, anyway I just got the deluxe version "both versions" were priced at $14.95, someone made a mistake.

I don't know what patch to download?

nope, they were only used for suggestions and ideas in BF2 on PC, they are actually working on BF2:Modern combat for the console :)

You cant beat the starship troopers movie. i love it, the gore compliments the random love story and its just brilliant :D my fav alien movie

Ya the Movie is so freakin awesome I got it for my PsP as well, the demo is cool in the sense that you are apart of the Roughnecks squad, it starts off from a cut scene from the movie were there walking in the desert planet and there making there way to the Compound, then you have to fight the bugs, and the people from the Movie did the voices for there characters, but the Skipping Mouse Movement and lag made the game so bad I turned it off with out thinking twice.

I'll have to give that 1981 MOD a try, I was having a Blast with 1942, owning everyone.... mwhahahahaha... Fun Game Indeed, kinda un-realistic with the sniper rifle and such..

But the b?ta was such a success that they tried to make it more realistic or by letting it look realistic... :p
