Now, honestly, I'm all for shoot-em-ups... I love em. Great fun.
And I love WWII history. So what could be better than combining the two? Look at these forums for example...

however, that looks awful. He parachuted through a piece of metal. Not only is that historically inaccurate, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE!
Then he picked up what appeared to be an mg42... and used with incredible accuracy and efficency...
Then a tank appears, and by the looks of it, I think it implies he was the only person driving the tank. I mean, we all know how good a tank works with one guy reloading, firing, and spotting, commanding...

Having said all that...

Nowhere on that site does it say "based on actual events", "historically accurate", "loosly based on events that may have happened, somewhere", "accurate physics", "loosly based on events which may or may not have appeared or been conceived in Bruckheimer films", or "warning: this game may make you flunk history. Play with caution".

That was horrible! I couldn't even finish it because it was so incredibly stupid. Specialy the part in wich the person fall trough the metal roof, an after that he uses MG-42, mich by the way fires 1200+ rounds per minute, making it virtualy impossible to use like a submachinegun. Didn't bare to watch it any further...

Also the german salutation in the beginning didn't fit the situation.

Imagine..the whole day on patrol..and everytime u meet another guy u have to say :S*** H***! And salute!...Omg...

The best of the trailer is the super sherman...one shot kill a Tiger....ok he was really near at the Tiger but look at the german tank after the hit...a totally wracked tank...with 1 shot.

Or...the Sgt. jumpes through metal, catchs a MG42 and a bazooka on his back and jumps out of the tower. Thats sooo stupid and unrealistic....but the first seconds aren't bad. The knive scene looks really...ohm....good? and the watchtower with the 2 germans isn't bad ,too

LMAO! that's one game I won't be buying/playing :p

EDIT: The graphics look nice tho...what a waste of a potentially good game by making it such a half hearted mainstream shooter. :(

i think it looks intresting..... you guys can slag it off all you want but altho it looks unrealistic etc it looks like fun :D i looked at the pictures of the game i dont think its ann FPS but more 3rd person view mode

Apparently (according to the site) you can also paradrop MG-nests, and antitank emplacements...

In my honest opinion this is a spit in the face of the veteran of WWII.
