[Hunnicutt [506th PIR]]

I am the CO of a DOD unit that uses a different aproch to the game DOD. We play in a Realistic style of game play where you get one life. Well as everyone knows DOD is old and DOD:S doesn't look much better. I think this HL2 Mod (and full version when it is out) will be a perfect game for my unit. Just wanted to say thanks for the work...looks good

Hello all. Sorry if I posted in the wrong area... Just wanted to offer some help.... As for what area... I am in the North Eastern area of the USA... Mostly play DOD/Vietcong and OFP. Look forward to some '44.. Looks damn good.

lol, they redid the whole DoD game, from the last pic and some pics from somebody inside a BETA Hush, Hush, I think in my Opinion it looks Amazing.

I agree... it does look good... but it is still DOD... it is still Avalanche and I am not sure it will hold my intrest for long.

Dangit Morgan, you beat me to it. We, the 17.SS are also a former DoD unit, a realism unit, and will be moving to this game. I as well don't think DoD:S is going to be any better. They aren't changing the gameplay enough to actually make it worthwhile. Can't wait to try out this whole Panzergrenadier thing where the infantry works right alongside tanks and such. We are also going to include an armored entity of our unit, so that our regular soldiers can concentrate on their infantry skills and the dedicated tankers can work on on those skills. Poor 506th didn't get to work alongside tanks until Bastonge. It will be fun fighting in Carentan against you guys.
