but seriously i clicked on to try walk over it about an hour before he tried it :p

his rant does remind me of 2 games, Super Ghouls n Ghosts, me and my mum use to play it all the time, she was great at it andone Sunday got all the way through to the end to be told she had not picked up the key. For sucessive nights she searched, found every chest ... looked in very corner and got to the end of the game to be told she needed the key.

I found out several years ago when i was in High School .... that the game was basically impossible to beat to people who had not played the pervious games or at least not in the know

Sticking with tradition, players have to beat Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts twice in a row with a special weapon (Prin-Prin's Bracelet) before being treated to the true ending.
Twice in a row? Which kid or any casual gamer is gonner think hmmm ive just spent several hours playing this ... ill play it again to see if i can someone mircaloriuosly beat it?

The other was Super Metroid, .... theres a part i can remember where you have to succesfully bounce off either side of this tunnel to get up it .... lol
Without that item up top you cant progress any further iirc .... both me and my mother tried for eons to get up there without success.

Funny thing is ... i dusted off the Snes last year for my brother, afterwards i plonked that in ... after getting use to the controls ... did said jump with ease and went on .... beat all the baddies we had missed years ago and got to the end iirc and havnt got there since.
We did have a laugh at the ease of it .... :p
