So, this is the thread for the best tactical WWII (stealth) game.

The story is based on the work of the SAS, all stories are based on true events.

From Czechoslovakia to Japan, to Lybia and Poland...

The multiplayer however is based on normale paratroopers/infantrists.

Don't blame me for the bad quality of the screenshots, the screenshots are heavily compressed and might seem very blurry but its because MSN Space adapts the pictures even before uploading...

Played H&D2 a couple of times, it was fun at that time.
A good game for sure.

i played a bit and reallly liked it, huge selection of weapons and stuff... but i hate the al... but haven't played for a while maybe they fixed it...

Although some claim it will be out end this year/next year. Some say it isn't even planned.

As far as I know it isn't planned but I think it is my duty to create a site to collect e-mailaddresses for the continuation of H&D3.

I even made my feature-request list :D :D :D

But ermm anybody here who plays H&D2 online?

I hate RPG/Turn-based games too, thats the reason why I play H&D2, I still own a copy of Hidden and Dangerous Deluxe... Great game...

I even bought it for the PS1, which I still play on my PS2.

@css2d: They fixed the AI in the add-on Sabre Squadron.
Man, now its much harder to play both campaign and co-op...

Hidden and Dangerous 2 was an amazing game, in my opinion. I liked it much more than the original...it was more immersive, to me (probably due in part to the better graphics and sounds).

Theres a great selection of weapons (including the de Lisle Carbine, if memory serves me right) and vehicles. The levels are very well done as well.

H&D2 isn't an RPG or turn-based strategy...not sure where you got that from.

Its a tactical first person shooter, in which you can either choose to lead your squad from the first person the entire time, or use the tactical command screen to issue orders to your squadmates and have them carry out the actions you specify. You can do either at any time.

I was glad it was done this way, because it leaves the game open for two types of players: the more strategic, tactical type player who thinks out the entire battle, or the player who just goes with the flow and improvises on the fly.

Definitely an awesome game, well worth the price (which is low by now, I'm sure).

Hidden & Dangerous 2, not exactly the nicest and latest game but it still remains the best tactical game and damn lot of fun:

This is to give you lads an idea on how the game looks like.
The game looks horrible, but then again it was gold in 2001...

The gameplay is amazingly fun, something you wouldn't expect when you are looking at the screenshots.

And to my opinion it is worth a high-price but now it just ?14,99!!!
Unfortunatly it still isn't sold in neither the U.S. nor Canada...

But if you want it dearly, you can always ship it to the U.S...

hey sorry for reviving this really old thread, but I just downloaded the single player demo for hidden and dangerous. I'm having a lot of trouble getting the hang of it. It would've been nice if they added a tutorial.

So the sp mission is where you're in a city and you have to try and rescue some American paratroopers. I'm a little confused with controling your squad. Do you guys use the tactical mode alot? My squad members just keep dying. If i send one up to advance and find some cover behind a corner of a house, he goes there. Then he gets shot at so he returns fire. And then he basically just dies.

ahhh I need some tips on squad control.
